This
exquisitely elegant, classy, long legged, modern, dark bay
filly oozes charm and commands attention with her presence
and attitude to life. "Extacy" moves with a lightness
to her step, a trot filled with suspension that floats on
air, a canter that bounds uphill effortlessly with cadence
and a ground covering stride to her walk. Her sire is our
own stallion Amoureux
out of our home bred mare Solaris
Chiquita daughter of our foundation Keur mare Quinine
Alongside her qualities as a dressage horse she comes from
a long line of world class showjumping progenitors - G Ramiro
Z, Pik As, Contender, and Calypso coupled with the Selle francais
Bloodlines of Grand Veneur, Furioso and Surioso.
Her maternal grand dam successfully competed up to 1.30m
and her dam showed exceptional aptidude as a jumper when shown
loose, inheriting the elasticity and bascule of her paternal
grandsire Contender, with the carefulness and calculating
stride of her dam Quinine.
However adding to her prolific jumping heritage, she also
has the blood of of Krack C Anky Van Grunsvens world cup dressage
champion by Flemming and Pik As who produced the famous Pik
Bube I and II as well as Graphit.
